Scouts Porecani - from detachment scouts training ship "Jadran", which work on the territory of Palilula Municipality, have organized this weekend the traditional action "Let our Nisava be clean." The participants of the action were welcomed the Milos Stojiljkovic, a member of Palilula Municipality. He pointed out that Scouts Porecani from Scout ship "Jadran", actively participate in all events organized by the Municipality of Palilula. On the occasion of the City Saint Patron Day and Palilula evening manifestation, they participated in the youth camp on drums, also on Nišavska and Moravska regatta events. Scouts are one of the biggest organizations of civil society with a long tradition, which has its activities subordinated interests of children and young people, and because of that our Municipality supports their work - said the councilor Stojiljkovic.

According to Ratomir Petkovic, the elders of the Scout Association of the City of Nis and the founder of Sea Scout detachment, this unit of Scouts realized meaningful youth training program, during the summer and the school on a reconnaissance of the Oblacina Lake. Traditional action "Let our Nisava be clean", is a part of the world campaign "Clean Up the World" and the promotion of environmental activities of EKOPOLIS-Media ecological network in Serbia. With this activity, which besides Scouts Nis Detachment had also the guests from of the "Breza" Scout Association of the City of Belgrade, addressed the message to citizens- "Save our river!" Let's make our environment is clean, that the shores of our rivers and waterways are not waste disposal sites.
